      Great flexibility, benefits, overall place to work.

      Pros

      Great pay, benefits, pension and team members. There is ample time off that you can actually use.

      Cons

      The executive team is not always aligned which creates challenges. A small town also creates nepotism dynamics that can sometimes be a struggle as it relates to accountability due to underperformance. The labor union can also be tricky to navigate at times when trying to implement change.

      Pros

      Stability - they have a constant revenue stream Longevity - you can work there as long as you want. Short of bringing a gun to work, you are guaranteed a job.

      Cons

      There is an adversarial relationship between upper management and employees. Mutual respect and fairness is not the order of the day. Options for moving up in the company are extremely limited. Continuous improvement is not approved of. Upper management appears to be aimless and without direction. They do not communicate with their employees at all.
