Great Southern Bank has one of the best cultures I’ve ever worked in – collaborative, low-ego, and genuinely supportive. The Head of Product (Barbera) is an absolute banking savant; she knows every portfolio inside-out down to the basis point and is brilliant at translating complex strategy into clear direction for the team. As a Senior Product Manager I had real ownership, good resourcing, and felt trusted to deliver. Easily one of my favourite roles in my career
Cons
Honestly hard to find real faults. If I had to nit-pick, some processes could feel a little “traditional bank” slow at times, but that’s improving and never blocked good work.
