Great students, horrible department chair, limited culture
Pros
The kids are amazing and do fantastic things. If they would focus less on just the grade, however, it could be something really spectacular. Great facilities to work in.
Cons
Department Chair has ulterior motives and in general, not a people-person at all. Not sure they could manage a fruit stand profitably, and certainly can't hold a conversation for more than a minute or so. The college is no longer focusing on the mission as much as the political statement they hope to make, which is a shame. While the value is still there, with an emphasis on political agendas, students are becoming turned off. Third and fourth generation Grovers will continue to send their kids there, but at this point, there really is not much room for folks with a different opinion on politics and/or government.
