- Little to no accountability from leadership
- Poor financial and business planning (see above) resulted in numerous layoffs. As far as I can tell, the C-level leaders were unaffected by layoffs, beside a seat shift and an apparent promotion (?) nothing has changed for them. Not the case for the large chunk of the company who were let go just before the holiday season (Huzzah!).
- Some of the least impressive C-level leaders I've worked under
- CEO criticises and questions the purpose of his own departments as if he had no role in building them
- Where true, clear, plans were required to achieve ambitious goals, the substitute was often corporate babble. A particular presentation about boats and 'rowing in the same direction' comes to mind - it offered nothing and was a very clear symptom of the lack of direction and skills the leadership team exhibited throughout my time there.
