Pros

The work itself is intense, but watching how it pays off in clients is really inspiring. Lots of flexibility in scheduling if you want to work at peak client availability times (evenings and weekends).

Cons

Coaching is emotionally intense, you do not get paid for the emotional toll it may take on you. If you need assistance yourself, contract work means you have no benefits. It is contract work that starts at $20/hr. This means you may make less than minimum wage once you factor in taxes. The company is only interested in your initial training, funneling clients to you, and receiving data through client surveys. They do not show interest in coach perspectives. They have twice increased the cost of coaching, reflecting none of that price coach pay increases. The administration seems to have interest in burning through coaches then hiring new talent to replace those who quit or drop hours because of burnout and lacking support. The atmosphere very much feels like a natural selection pool, where those who are resilient survive, but those who aren't get discarded.

Pros

You learn great skills and very flexible environment

Cons

The administrative side of things kind of suck. Either need to hire more or just look at what they're doing.

Pros

- Meaningful work - valuable learned skills

Cons

- questionable ethics - not actually independent contractors despite being treated like one - not enough support for the work and not enough pay for the work - nearly impossible not to burnout if you want to work full time so it's really only useful as a part-time job - poor management -hypocritical in their values
