Heliogen was once a promising company with unlimited talent and really fun place to work. But all that changed over night by drastic layoffs that completely killed the company, culture, and everything that was food about Heliogen. CFO that turned CEO was a huge mistake but what's even worse is board members and all the people who make ridiculous salaries yet do nothing but talk. For every mistake there are repercussions and Heliogen never stopped making mistakes with the biggest of all laying off a large number of good talented and hard working people. This company is now hanging by a thred with people walking out left and right. There is no future left and ones to blame still cash their huge paychecks not giving a damn.

This company used to be incredible. Unfortunately, they laid off a bunch of really critical employees and most of the other good ones quit rather than get laid off eventually. Of the good OGs still left, every single one of them is contributing more to the company in a single week than mangement has during their entire time there. And the only ones who ever got a promotion were the ones working under a good manager who--surprise, surprise--has since been laid off. I hope my old coworkers realize their worth and leave this place that doesn't care about them at all.
