Pros

Very few. One member of the management team is hard working, trustworthy person that knows how to motivate a team. Unfortunately these efforts are often hampered by having to stick handle around the President's complete lack of ethics.

Cons

The worst company culture that I have ever been a part of. The president of the company is completely inept at motivating a team, or inspiring anyone to work hard for him, and this has lead to a complete lack of trust between management and the employees. Below is a small sample of what i have overheard the president say (please allow me to paraphrase): - if you have a problem, you know where the door is - I enjoy the time after Christmas when sales people are out of money, I should get more productivity out of them - you're sandbagging? (I wasn't) I have fired people for that, just so you know. If any employee asked about HR, we were literally told to go to hell and wait. Although it was proposed jokingly as if there was someone named 'Helen Wait"............... none of us thought it was funny. The base salary for the sales team is not market competitive, but there are promises of high commissions. However, the compensation plan is made to be so confusing that the sales people have no clarity to when, or how much they are getting paid. It can take up to a year after a sale is made to receive a commission payment, causing nothing but financial stress. The office hours are very rigid, 7:30-4 without deviation, unless you want to stay late, and there is no option to work from home. If you need to leave early for any reason, like a doctors appointment, you are treated as if you are stealing from the company and that time needs to be repaid. Operationally the place is a complete mess. A revolving door of poorly paid employees in key, customer facing positions, has lead to inadequate service and angry customers. Projects often come in over time, and over budget.

Pros

Coffee machine is amazing, when it works.

Cons

Deals take forever to close, and are delivered wrong every time. Corrections come out of your commission and this is not under your control. You are penalized for not hitting quota up to $2000 off your next commission cheque. Salary is well below industry standard. It takes months to get paid after you've already collected the money for the order. This place is an absolute joke. Take a look at the parking lot when you show up for your interview.

Pros

Good people Spacious office Diversity Free Coffee

Cons

Parking is the least of your concern Surprisingly, the managers do have a mentorship program, which clearly isn't working. Turnover rate averages to 1 person per month. People don't go to manager's superior to discuss the challenges because the manager finds out who it was and bullies them. There is no remorse for even a minute lateness. It's pretty much like high school. So, please don't question the employees leaving at 4 on the dot. Difficult to have access to the manager on the issues he/she has to take care of.
