- The pro of lots of downtime also means you’re not selling much. Usually get 2-3 customers a day with there being so many employees and not much traffic.
- No lunch breaks on certain days and you can’t leave the store at all on Saturday. You have to order food on the days you can’t leave the store, or try to bring a lunch with you.
- Lots of nepotism goes on in the store with it being family-owned. Very clique-y, and noticeable special treatment to people close to higher-ups. There’s really no way for anyone to be held accountable for how they treat you because of this.
- Seems like they want employees to come from money or high status in the area. They do treat you differently when you don't.
- In my experience, anytime a coworker or I called in, everyone in the store knows why you were gone that day or what is going on in your personal life. No privacy between associates and management.
- Money fluctuates a lot. Could make $2,000+ a month or you can make $600 or less for the month. There’s no hourly rate. Not the best job for anyone that needs money immediately or consistently. It takes months to start making more.
- Insurance is high. No vision insurance offered
- Noticed sometimes a nitpicking behavior on minorities/young and new employees, including myself along with being told I was “going to be eaten alive” by GM based on my appearance.
