The people who worked here for many years were top-notch, passionate about the mission, incredibly dedicated and smart. They provided invaluable institutional knowledge and solid relationships with the scientific partners and communities IAVI served. Work-life balance was valued and supported. Pay and benefits were excellent.

Cons

Senior management is driving the org into the ground with awful decision-making in the midst of a funding crisis. They are letting their egos drive their decisions and they've laid off more than 100 valuable employees rather than temporarily reduce their exorbitant salaries at the top and/or eliminate unnecessary senior management positions and doomed programs.
