Thanks for your feedback. We have been working hard to ensure that diversity and inclusion are always championed at our organisation, and this remains a continued focus at IMPOWER. We are doing this in many ways, including encouraging flexible and hybrid working for all our team, improving our family friendly policies, and supporting and promoting women within our organisation. We have refreshed our recruitment approach to ensure we review CVs anonymously and our adverts are written with non-biased language to encourage applications from as wide a range of people as possible. We know how important this is, and we are always striving to do more, therefore we have a group of dedicated DEI Champions and offer regular DEI Forums as a space for people to discuss the key issues of the day. We will keep working hard on this priority for our business.

Pros

Pay was okay Decent work life balance

Cons

- despite being a small firm, there’s a very cliquey feel which leaves people feeling like outsiders - lack of any genuine diversity and inclusion efforts. My experience was people of colour tended to join and leave pretty quickly - consulting training wasn’t very good, and in a firm where most people came from industry, it meant people weren’t operating like consultants in the traditional sense - project work was unfulfilling
