Pros

The team was great before everyone quit. - smart network of contractors, but most don't actually work there anymore.

Cons

I would not wish this employer on anyone. The CEO created a toxic workplace and mistreated great employees. The original founding team quit within months of each other. I would not trust anything you hear from the CEO. She is very gifted at first impressions, but quick to use tactics of intimidation and emotional manipulation on employees. - The company promises a 35-hour work week and work/life balance but this was never the case. Everyone regularly needed to work much more than 35 hours. The CEO continued to advertise 35-hour work weeks when hiring, despite protest from the rest of the team. - The CEO often agreed to projects that the team was ill-equipped to handle and then repeatedly went MIA for days or weeks at a time and left employees to figure out how to do work they had never done before and would then conveniently reappear to take credit for the work that was done. - The CEO is known to routinely mismanage the team and scaled too quickly and hired several people without having necessary funding. this resulted in numerous rescinded job offers and pay cuts for all employees, which was supposed to last 2 weeks but instead lasted several months. - The CEO let an employee go while they were on parental leave - The CEO showed favoritism to some employees but was cruel to other employees - The CEO cares more about how things appear to outsiders than she does about the treatment of her team
