Pros

You actually get a pay check The interview process was quick and easy Anyone who interviews gets the job. Had the pleasure of working with heroin addicts and thieves despite them doing background checks

Cons

No gas compensation for driving long distances Barely pays above minimum wage. Standing in a store and asking people if they want to buy a product you don't want. "Excuse me, can I ask you a quick question?" Employees barely stay a few months Multi-level marketing scheme (pyramid scheme) where those on the top profit from those on the bottom. They've rebranded their company many times to save from you seeing the negative feedback. Went from Bravo Home Entertainment to Divide Et Impera Marketing, now it's just Impera marketing

Thank you, for providing us with your feedback. We are always looking for ways to better improve ourselves and we do that through reviews. We are sorry about your experience and are trying to better understand the situation. Base pay is negotiable. We apologize if there was miscommunication about that. For gas compensation we will set something up if you inquire. We are sorry as well to hear about your working experience. we try to be very strict with the background check but sometimes things slip by. We sincerely do hope to improve on this fact and will be looking into it immediately. Thank you once again for drawing our attention to the matter. As for your impression about the pyramid scheme there must be some mistake. We don't require anyone buy into our company and don't encourage you to market to your family or friends to make a profit. If there was a lapse in our classroom training we will be fixing that as well. Overall we do appreciate you reaching back to let us know where we may better improve and we wish you the very best going forward. Thank you and best regards, Impera Marketing

Pros

You could spin the experience into something that sounds good on your resume if you're willing to stick with it.

Cons

The business is a complete pyramid scheme/multi-level marketing scam. Job ads are completely misleading and imply that you'll be working in marketing on things like marketing campaigns, when really you'll just be working in direct sales and standing at a table all day asking people if they want to buy something in the middle of the store, which is an awful sales/business strategy. Pay is exploitatively low, commissions are actually very difficult to get, the "President" of the company is unethical, abusive, and one of the worst managers I've ever seen. He'll look for every excuse to fire someone or not pay them and I still have not received compensation I'm owed since leaving the business. Avoid like the plague.

Pros

Pros were getting paid weekly. The worst part was having to drive to Elmira or Ithaca everyday and not receive any gas or milage! I drive and SUV but the boss didn't care

Cons

Had meeting every week. They originally were on Thursday nights after work and would last until late 11 or 12am. Back up to work the next morning without pay!!! My wife never believed I was at meetings until those late hours! I actually spoke to the managers wife and she thought the same thing sometimes!!!

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know where we may improve on. We have changed the hours of the meetings as you have pointed out they did run late. We apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused. The hours for our meetings are much more earlier now and gas compensation is negotiable. We are consistently working towards improving and the feedback allows us to do that.
