Pros

The ground game and hustle by the cogs and sprockets that make the machine go. The us against them(management) mentality is so unnecessary. And don't pretend it's not there. There are those that really take pride in the products and the accurate and timely fulfillment of those products. We recognize those people among us. Management certainly doesn't.

Cons

Wages are low. Lots of high-school kids doing temp work in evenings. That probigates the idea that if the kids aren't being paid much then the "full timers" shouldn't either. "Full time" is in quotes because you might work full time hours but recieve O benefits. The merchandising department love to splash the idea of all the good "juju" at the workplace in there sales materials. A hoot and a holler it is not. The business is no longer owned by its founder. It's owned by a faceless Equity firm out of town. Imagine that extra kick in the pants for morale.

Pros

Discounted products; some employees bring their dogs (only the employees who have offices, though)

Cons

Standing on your feet on concrete the length of your shift; A LOT of heavy lifting (those Zum soap trays are heavy); headache-inducing smells (this is a soap factory); extremely clique-y environment; unfriendly environment

Pros

laid back work environment, good for self-disciplined

Cons

Harassment at workplace, especially subjugation. Huge wealth disparity. Management will rarely listen if grievances are brought forward, unless it’s a budgetary issue. Not much safety protocol, while management claims to be “safety first” Although from the outside it may look like a happy place, there are passive aggressive battles being fought en masse. Everyone has their own agenda, if they are afforded a seat at the table.
