Pros

Nice pickup trucks. Top Security.

Cons

Just a heads-up if you are considering of working at IEA. I would think twice! I was excited to finally break into the industry and what I thought the opportunity to work with a reputable company. However that all changed on my 4th day of employment when I experienced severe abdominal cramps working under a very short walk around deck. Although I had cramps I continued doing my job but within only an hour or two of starting my day I was informed I was terminated because you are not fit for this job(even though I am tri-athlete). This was very disappointing news but am glad not to be a part of a toxic environment.

Pros

-Good comp if you can get to a high enough rung in the ladder -Basic benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision, bonus) -Technically speaking, no dress code policy for office staff

Cons

-Siloed & Disorganized -Too many VPs and Directors so no one is in charge, everyone has to give their opinion, and nothing really gets done until the C-Suite says so -Very little unity and integration among acquired firms -Poor and minimal communication at all levels of senior management -Old-school, butts in seats, let me call you on your hardline desk phone, 8-5 no matter what, head down do your work mentality -Pretty high Executive to Median Employee Compensation ratio -Execs stare at you blankly when you suggest things like working from home, using webcams and video calls, schedule flexibility, paid maternity and paternity leave
