I worked at Insurance Australia Group full-time

    Pros

flexibility, high wage, half price on insurnace

    Cons

It all depends on who is on your reporting line that will mould your experience, you can't get anything done in a timely fashion, so MUCH politics and department spats. Six months in people give up and just push their mouse around until restructure time.

I worked at Insurance Australia Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I’ve worked with some of the brightest and most talented individuals within P&C who have a lot to contribute but are limited by the hierarchical culture.

    Cons

Unlawful and unethical practices are tolerated by senior executives within P&C who conceal their own mistakes through sanitising advice and ignoring risks raised by their own teams.

I have been working at Insurance Australia Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You work with supportive people who have your best interest at heart. The purpose of the company is to make people’s lives safer, and that is seen from top to down. They were quick to make the changes needed in a covid world too.

    Cons

Slow progress to promotion, it feels as though they would rather hire someone outside than promote colleagues internally. Constant restructures with new CEO’s, seems like the structures just change without consultation of teams and how it affects.
