I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This company is great. No question. They want the best for all the employees, good salary, benifits, opportunity for growth, leaders are generally good. People are very friendly. Office space top tier.

    Cons

The fun culture has been completely decimated. There is a strong anti-drinking culture cultivated by the new country leader. What was once a vibrant Friday night, is now a drab affair. The receptionist has been instructed to "lock" the fridge like a mother hiding candy from her children. Celebrations for End of Financial Year has gone from joyous occasions at a nearby bar, to 1.5 hours of cheap alcohol in the kitchen....

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff with respect, and not like 5 year children. It's very condescending.

    Pros

Work culture is good . Team members are good.

    Cons

No flexibility to work from home. The management don’t trust employees to work from home. We have amazon connect to take calls remotely but management wants to micro manage. It is very difficult for parents with kids.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees more. The more you show empathy to your employees, they will go above and beyond in delivering .

I worked at Intuit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good staff benefits, great office facilities and location. Quality product to sell which is highly competitive in the SMB space.

    Cons

Senior management encourages incompetent staff by rewarding them with promotions for 'endorsing' company culture/values rather than sales performance/ability. Most sales team within the org are not achieving target and are given little to no help to get to their targets. HR complaints go unheard and unresolved, whilst investigations on management get swept under the carpet on the premise that changes will be made. Managers...

    Advice to Management

Management needs a complete overhaul in the sales org. Reward and promote your staff on the basis of performance and REAL demonstration of company values rather than to people just 'playing the game' in front of managers. Empower your top sales performers to be the best they can be and allow them to utilise basic sales negotiation to onboard new customers, rather than disciplining employees for discounting.

    I worked at Intuit full-time

    Pros

Globally great company with an amazing reputation. Staff benefits are amazing. Thankfully some the management that was responsible for the shocking culture and bad practices have been fired/disciplined...there may be hope!

    Cons

Leadership are clueless are clueless and need to be more in touch with their sales staff as well as the market, in terms of what is happening at ground zero. Targets are unrealistic, salespeople don't have anything to really sell.

I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You get to work with very smart people who empower you and allow you to do the best work of your life. I love the team, culture - yes there are times when it's very high pressured but you know you will be supported and looked after. The office is beautiful and we have great benefits. We are the challenger in the market but have big dreams and visions and with the team we have we can definitely get there. No day is...

    Cons

There can sometimes be early or late calls with other Global teams however you are very much encouraged to then get this time 'back', there is no clock watching and you're treated like an adult.

I have been working at Intuit full-time

I worked at Intuit full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Worked at Intuit for a number of years. Have been through many changes since being in the company, which is very admirable because Intuit is able to adapt and evolve to change very quickly. Intuit has great benefits if you're a fulltime employee. The office is also amazing with stunning views, which makes you want to wake up everyday to come in and do your work.

    Cons

Sales org looks great from the surface until you become more exposed to the role. Intuits Sales division has entirely become toxic led by substandard sales leaders and middle management with no sales management experience. Atmosphere and vibe within the sales org is non existent, with some sales agents working with little to no integrity and getting away with it. Your voice is hard to be heard as things can very often...

I worked at Intuit full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Office is beautiful- stunning views! Great social events inhouse and offsite.

    Cons

Targets ramp aggressively over the year, which makes it nearly impossible to hit commission targets- this also means you'll see team members perpetually stressed that they're not hitting quotas. Staff churn is excessive. Sales team vibe is very depressing and has bred poor sales behaviours in a desperate attempt to achieve number at any cost. Unfortunetly their is a disconnect between corporate values and how staff actually...

    Advice to Management

Improve staff onboarding and training, nearly none of the sales staff understand your product, sales enablement and coaching is some of the weakest I've come across. Be more realistic about targeted growth and how that impacts the commission payouts
