I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time

    Pros

JP Morgan is one of the best places to work. They have top notch experts in every level of the organization and Jamie Dimon is one of the best CEOs in the industry.

    Cons

The company is very large and moving within the firm can be difficult.

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

If you can connect in to your global peers, there is tremendous scope working in a technology role.

    Cons

Serious technology work doesn't happen much in Sydney these days. If you are working in technology in Sydney your role will be at risk of moving offshore.
The core business of the company is not software development, and so if you are good at your craft, you may struggle to find a team that does software development well.
Unless you are based in one of the major hubs (ie not Sydney) you may struggle to get good career progression in a technology role.
