Very specific and not entirely pleasant experience
Pros
Good salary compared to other places. Sometimes good technical challenges and interesting tasks, there are people with good technical knowledge in some areas so learning is possible.
Cons
I had a very weird feeling about the management. My impression was that no people actually know what are they doing and why. It is almost impossible to find a person being really in charge in planning. The environment is super inert so even simple changes take months. There are no team building. No events. No parties. No comfortable work places, I mean - you wanna a good chair, you apply for it yourself, no people to take care about it in advance. No air conditioning in the office except CEO office (what a surprise!), so a few weeks every summer are a sweating inferno. No proper knowledge sharing between teams. I managed to work there for a few years without even knowing other colleagues names, not to mention their projects. People avoid conversations and discussions so it gives you an impression that you work all alone. Mildly toxic environment. People in charge like HR lied a few times about the support they were going to provide and then pretended that it never happened and ignored my emails.
