      Good company, bad manager

      Pros

      Good pay. Benefits were ok. They threw a great holiday party.

      Cons

      Management will set you up for failure. Example: a co-worker (We'll call him Frank) credited me with fixing something for him. My manager gave the credit to Frank, not myself. They are very fickle. Expectations change frequently and they will not inform you. Felt like shooting a moving target blindfolded. I was admittedly made to be a scapegoat in order to save face with a customer after I did exactly what was asked. I did exactly what was asked and I got written up (because the manager was wrong) I called my manager out when he was incorrect and got written up. I repeatedly offered/asked to do other jobs/duties and was passed over. We were supposed to have a monthly review. I had one in the two years I was there. When they let you go, they'll tell you 30 days then let you go one week later. Thanks!

      KS2 leaders meets weekly and quarterly with every employee to ensure a clear path for success. Goals/Rocks are set jointly each quarterly and do not change during that period. Every employee's rock progress is discussed weeky in their team meeting and 1/1 meetings. We strive to have honest and transparent conversations with our team members. Their success is our success as a company. Consistent employee reviews are tracked by our HR team to ensure every employee gets the job performance feedback they need to perform well in their role.

      KS2 works extremely hard to provide timely, clear and frequent communication shared with employees. We communicate in monthly town hall meetings, quarterly All Hands meetings, slack channels and emails. There are also weekly L10 meetings lead by the group leader in which communication is shared. In our quarterly employee surveys, the company is rated high in effective communication.

      Pros

      Great company culture. Collaborative atmosphere where everyone is willing to do their part. Competitive pay and generous bonus plan as long as you meet your goals. Flexible working hours including remote work.

      Cons

      The workload can be heavy with strict deadlines, but there is plenty of support to help you meet your deadlines if you are transparent about what support you need.
