Pros

-Freelancers that are on their roster can expect consistent calls especially if you are open to learn. -Good snacks. -Willing to train you, but be warned that in a show situation you will most likely pushed out of your station, literally, if something goes wrong instead of trained properly.

Cons

-The management struggles to relate to the people that work for them as they too are in way over their heads. As such, a work/life balance is often scoffed at and 6 day work weeks are a reality, without compensation. -The turnover here is frighteningly high for full time staff. 17 people in less then 12 months, in the middle of a pandemic. Let that speak for itself. -There is sexism rooted here to a point that many of the female staff are often passed over for lead producer roles with clients to less experienced men. That doesn't include accounts since that team is made up almost entirely of women. -It should also be noted there was an active complaint with the Department of Labor for underpaying the fulltime staff without providing overtime pay. This has been rectified to the industry minimum.

Thank you for your review. Live X strives to maintain a positive work environment while supporting our staff in order to do their best work through long hours in fast-paced, high-stress production situations. While we appreciate feedback, Live X would like to address comments that are factually untrue. Live X fully supports work/life balance and does not ask staff to work 6 days a week without additional compensation. The demands of the industry occasionally require weekends and Live X pays additional anytime salaried employees experience a 6-day workweek. Live X did not have the high turnover rate noted. In fact, we recruited and hired several new staff members throughout the pandemic year. We value constructive criticism and encourage staff to bring concerns to the attention of a manager so that Live X can continue to grow and improve.

Pros

- Flexible team - Flexible Growth Opportunities - Okay Benefits

Cons

This place will drain you. Most people either are stuck in their ways or actively applying for other positions. The culture here is sink or swim. The first thing I was told when I started here was to get out as soon as i can… You WILL get yelled at. If you’re a person of color, stay away. This place does not value you. I spent months of work trying to accomplish what should have been a team goal to only feel isolated and afraid the entire time i was here. If you’re looking for a fun, team-based environment… this is not the place. Everyone is just trying to stay afloat to care about the next person. You will not receive training. This job promotes constant stress and ZERO support. This place will make you passionate about the work we do and make you overwork yourself to protect something that might not even be worth protecting. I genuinely hope the culture here changes because the people who work here are extremely talented and deserve better management.
