Pros

Anyone who values credit and the mission to make credit more accessible to Kenyans could align themselves with the organisations goals.

Cons

Decisions are made arbitrarily without looking at data, or metrics. Leadership in product development was lacking with multiple changes in direction. Seems that the non-management staff are regularly undervalued. For a lot of staff, work-life balance is non-existent. And the cavalier attitude towards external and family responsibilities that the human resources department has is just unacceptable. The organisation has the least attractive benefits package (i.e. health insurance etc) of any organisation of its size that I know of.

Good for experience but not growth

Pros

Lots of exposure, growing market, relatively young staff

Cons

The company has no strategy for growing its employees. Its a one-man-show as the CEO makes all the decisions including salary, departmental plans, and recruitment.
