Pros

- Plato system is easy to use. - Clinic assistants (CA) are friendly. - Good equipment.

Cons

VERY dismal attitude towards their ground workers - this includes CA and doctors, both part-time and full time. A colleague had an interview for an anchor GP position and was told that she would be let go if her clinic did not hit a certain revenue. The interviewer was also cold and did not really seem interested in hiring anyone at present. Worked in two clinics as a Locum. Working environment was good thanks to the friendly CAs. However, my experience was completely tarred when the company chose to cancel THREE weeks of shift work that I had made over one month advance because they hired an anchor GP. The company did not have any courtesy to inform the CA of their decision earlier and this was less than a week before the anchor was due to start work. Had to perform damage control and seek shifts in other companies to make up for the loss of income. This was after I had worked in this clinic for over 6 weeks and earned them three 5 star reviews during my stay.

Pros

It’s a nice environment to work, I love my colleagues. They are like a family to me. We work together as one till end of shift.

Cons

Firstly, I must emphasize that I joined MinMed Group with high hopes and a strong commitment to contribute to the company's success. Management's decision to let me go after my probation period was extremely disappointing. During my probationary period, I worked diligently, demonstrated a good rapport with my colleagues, and received no indication of any work-related issues. However, just two days after the probation ended, they informed me that they needed to create a pool of full-timers and were letting me go because I was new. I was taken aback when I was informed of my termination due to alleged "manpower issues." This decision was made even though the team needed more manpower. What concerns me the most is the lack of transparency and communication prior to making this decision. I was not given the opportunity to discuss my performance or receive feedback, which is a fundamental aspect of a fair and professional work environment. To make matters worse, my manager was on vacation and unaware of the situation, which left me feeling dismissed without a proper explanation. I question the professionalism of this approach.

Disorganised & Undirected Management

Pros

- Decent pay - You will learn a lot because you will be thrown into other departments' responsibilities as well and they don't pay for OT by the way.

Cons

I believe most of the positive reviews were probably asked to be written by the management. Through my personal experience, I have never enjoyed working here or seen any of my colleagues view the management positively. The lack of competency as no proper training was given, you will just be thrown to lead and manage on your own. And when it's finally lunchtime, you do not even have the time to eat while those from different departments were enjoying theirs. Of course same in other workplaces, there will be favoritism. But here, they favor incompetent people, who take others' credit for themselves and who are always agreeable to what they want (licking the bosses' boots). Far worse, they even got promoted when they are truly unprofessional in all sense. An obvious lack of manpower but kept taking in new projects and opening new clinics. The management just needs to pass the order down, but the one handling all these problems is not them so they wouldn't fully understand how stressful and drained everyone has been. Feedback was tossed aside which is why everyone is quitting.
