The Mod Squad is a super motivated and respectful team of highly capable individuals. Easy to go all-in with effort and energy when each person around is giving the same. I've never seen a team so determined to continue learning and overcoming challenges. We have a culture that thrives on overcoming technical challenges. We have a team that supports each other, and lifts each other up. From each leadership team member to every intern we hire, the team is devoted to constant improvement and effective teamwork. We value ownership and are committed to excellence.
Cons
Every company and team has it's challenges. I haven't seen any organization that doesn't have it's struggles balancing between good-fast-cheap. (We are still trying to figure out how to make more hours in a day!) Time is valuable and we strive to beat every potential competitor in the market. We work as efficiently as possible, but there are endless options of how to spend our resources; potential customers to interview, experiments we could run, data we could collect and analyze, and prototypes we could design, build and test. We've started to hit our stride in finding the balance of where to focus our resources. We are always looking for constant improvement opportunities. The Mod Squad members continue to find ways to evolve ourselves, team and programs.
