Pros

Easy to get clients, they provide technology.

Cons

No benefits (not even sick time, they are closed for holidays and you cannot work plus do not get paid), sold as a team when in reality there is no difference from working as an independent contractor. Poor screening of clients leads to challenging ethical decisions, of which they provide no guidance or support on. Everything has to be run through their support team, which would be fine if there was actually a clinical team instead of feeling like just another tech company capitalizing on mental health. Another tech company no different than BetterHelp who preaches one thing but practices another (no concern for employee well-being, clients have unrealistic expectations of consultation and compensation based on how information is presented to them).

Turned into big box therapy

Pros

Fairly competitive pay, nice people, good mission.

Cons

It started off as a great company but they pushed to grow much faster than they were ready for. It turned into a regular big box therapy company where the therapists get overworked and concerns are not heeded. They started expecting back to back sessions with no down time to do notes. Then started cutting people to part time who attempted to set work boundaries. Now they’ve taken that to a different level. It was all very confusing since when interviewing and during orientation they were super nice and accommodating.

Pros

None, really there is no benefit to work here

Cons

Filled my calendar up way too fast. There was no rump up. It was just a ton of clients all at once there’s no support administrative support whatsoever. They’re taking a large part of your money. There’s no benefits whatsoever. They pay a nominal fee for meetings. There’s just really no point to work here. There’s a lot of oversight and even though I was fully licensed, I had to have extra meetings for like 15 bucks an hour or something for oversight meetings with a supervisor I really didn’t like working here and I quit. There’s a lot of paperwork to get done to get paid a lot of phone calls. It was just pointless. The staff or whoever was really rude and treated you like an employee when you’re not getting any benefits so you’re not quite an independent crack contractor and you’re not an employee, but you get treated like an employee or even an associate.
