Good Experience for people with less experience, Bad Management, Bad Training
Pros
Newbies to the field are able to gain experience in several different fields within the IT industry, from servers, desktops, virtualization, and firewalls, employees will have the opportunity to learn several different skills. Company will pay for you to pass certifications, but will only approve certifications that they need for the software they use. Birthday parties, Christmas parties, and will occasionally take employees out for drinks and appetizers.
Cons
The company needs to invest in more training. Expectations from management need to be communicated on a regular basis to employees on what they expect out of them. Pay is on the low side and there is not much room for advancement or raises. Too many closed door discussions as well, this can be very discouraging when the managers office is only a few feet away from the employees. No job security, management will pick their favorite employees and give them all the opportunities.
