Pros
- Relatively modern tech stack across the board - Plenty of room for personal growth - Manager trusts employees decisions if they're backed up with data/experience, allowing for both changes and new/modern approaches to existing code - Good work/life balance (overtime is very rare) - Friendly team - Very good future business outlook - Weekly manager calls focused on personal growth and discussing ideas - No sprints or pointless Agile. Stories/epics get done as they come, everyone is honest and does their work on time. - Fully remote nature comes with lots of flexibility
Cons
- Needs quite a few more devs - Not as much of a con, as more of an informative point, the place may not suit those who prefer close guidance, as team members are expected to tackle challenges on their own first, with limited direct supervision. - There is some tech debt that needs handling before moving on to grander features. - Would be nice to have more in person team meetings due to fully remote nature
