Great to snowboard / ski on work breaks, make good friends, work in a beautiful location.

Awful company practices and management. Very anti-employee and anti-consumer, while being very pro-CEO and pro-shareholders. I've worked almost 10 different jobs in 4 different countries and NZSki is definitely the worst in terms of business practices. Just one example out of many - baristas cannot make themselves a free coffee. You get a ~15% discount off the extortionate mountain-priced coffee. If you accidentally ruin a customer's coffee and drink it yourself instead of throw it in the sink, you will be accused of theft. Also we started charging customers for hot water. Work for any other NZ ski field and it will be way better.
