Pros

Co-workers foster a fun atmosphere, and the lakeside location is beautiful. Free parking is available and excellent benefits are offered.

Cons

Executive leadership is disconnected from the staff, leading to a culture of favoritism and a rigid hierarchy. For instance, when scheduling the conference room, there's often an uncomfortable possibility that you may be asked to leave the conference room you reserve so that executives can discuss matters among themselves. The overall culture is reactive; when issues arise, leadership tends to engage in a blame game, seeking a scapegoat instead of addressing the root causes. Although it is legally classified as a nonprofit organization, it operates in a revenue-driven manner, so don’t expect the typical nonprofit atmosphere. Revenue profits are what are most important here. Additionally, minorities and women are often relegated to lower-level positions or burdened with excessive workloads without appropriate compensation.
