      Great office and colleagues, but poor leadership hurts collaboration

      Pros

      Nice office space, some good people to work alongside. An interesting place to work for engineers and people in PM and PC roles

      Cons

      'A few rotten apples'. Sadly some people in charge spoil the experience and diminished my self-confidence, but they're un-firable. I found the more 'senior' their role was, the less helpful they were - not their direct fault necessarily, there is just not much culture that encourages initiative from the mid-level roles like the PMs.

      Pros

      I undertook my placement year there, which was a great overall experience. It is a fast paced environment, as most startups, but it offered a great opportunity to take ownership of projects and deliver, especially for someone just starting out, so quite a rara avis in Industrial Placement Programs.

      Cons

      This depends on what everyone wants, but back then the fast paced environment was not necessarily for everyone. Depends on the pace and skills you are looking for, but would recommend if you value opportunities to be seen
