Pros

There aren't any. A few of the employees are great, but they will no doubt leave for the same reason so many others have. You know who you are

Cons

As stated in all the reviews written by employees, not the ones written by management to make the metrics look better…the management are rude, abrasive, close-minded liars. My personal experience mirrors so many others. Be kind to yourself, find somewhere else to work, you’ll be financially better off as the pay is hilariously below average. My salary was well below the average for the role, but seemed like the correct decision due to the promise of flexibility, but you guessed it, there is zero flexibility at all, even in a position that can be carried out remotely. Hysterically, the justification for the poor pay is that they are a flexible business… This is stated on job description and repeated during the 11 hours’ worth of interview process. The second you are in employment, all the “benefits” are pulled from under you, followed by outright denial that this was ever offered and petulant behaviour because of a disagreement. Management are stressed and constantly in a state of desperation to employ people due to their inability to retain staff. This is apparent when you review the employee turnover. The only positive reviews are from management, you can tell how much they care about the business by the minimal effort put in to the reviews. This level of apathy is equal to how they will view you as a person. Management throw out inappropriate comments daily and will not accept any complaints or comments about them. The business had circa 17 employees at my time of employment, with 11 people leaving in the year before. During my thankfully short time there, 3 employees left due to the unavoidable nepotism in the management structure. A bullying, arrogant and ignorant attitude. This unfortunately meant that there was zero objectivity, they blindly sided with each other even when provided with evidence that contradicted their statements. Refusal to accept that they have generated a toxic culture, even when handed review printouts from Glassdoor, they refuse to accept any responsibility for their attitude and leadership strategy. Instead, they blame the individual. A strange and very interesting mind-set to me that at no point do the management stop and reflect on the issues. It is clear, they are trying to expand the business rapidly, but it is like filling a bath without putting the plug in. If everyone around you is the problem, maybe the problem is you??? If for some reason you are considering employment here, after reading all the reviews, you need serious psychological help, but not as much as you will need after you’ve worked there.

Pros

Free biscuits in the kitchen

Cons

The directors have zero interest in bettering their employees or the longevity of the company. Feedback is heavily discouraged. Communications were often rude and patronising both during interviews and throughout employment. Staggeringly high turnover rate as a consequence of employees being bullied out or succumbing to the toxic nature of the company. The level of turn over alone is a clear indication of a company that is woefully mismanaged. Job titles/roles are constantly and widely inaccurate. Employees were made to complete tasks far beyond their job roles and comfort zones to the detriment of the business

Pros

Biscuits in the office, nice coffee machine, friendly staff.

Cons

Awful environment caused solely by the attitude of the CEO. Happy to belittle employees, quick to complain about chit chat but also will talk at length to anyone who will listen. Incredibly quick to blame employees for any issues, despite not fixing anything (or anyone) complained about. This is the reflected in the turnover of the company, with 2 full trading teams passing through the company in 2 years (0 traders here more than a year, out of a targeted headcount of 6). Pay well below the going rate. Some of the best people in the project team essentially bullied out of the business. Male to femal ratio approx 20:1
