Pros

Great management - The team managers at Orama are experienced, will help you learn your way and grow as apart of the company. They want to help you succeed. Potential to make a ton of money OTE - I’ve never come across a company with so many 21-22 year olds making 6 figures annually. Unlimited Holiday

Cons

Long hours - While the official hours are 8:30-5:30, it’s more like a 7-7 job with the commute and unwritten expectation that you stay after work if you’re not meeting your targets. You’ll constantly have to take client calls outside of work hours, I’ve had some calls at 10 PM, midnight, to accommodate my clients schedules across time zones in order to try to meet my targets. Low benefits - Might just be a London thing but with a company with so much growth, I’m disappointed there isn’t benefits such as commute expenses paid for and daily lunch at the office.

Pros

A number of the consultants are capable and conduct themselves with professionalism, which makes collaboration reasonably straightforward. The experience offers a rather clear illustration of what ineffective leadership, fragile infrastructure, and the absence of formal training look like - perspective that may prove valuable when assessing future employers.

Cons

There is no genuinely structured training programme, notwithstanding assertions to the contrary. Onboarding lacks coherence and consistency. Communication from leadership can be patronising, and this manner appears to be tacitly accepted within the culture. The compensation structure is not especially competitive given the expectations and workload. The credibility of certain overly positive reviews is, at best, doubtful.
