Pros

I actually don't have any pros.

Cons

The employers were inhumane. Prone to really nasty fits. Literally was once called into an office with another employee so that she could bear witness as the boss had me read aloud a typo I'd sent him in an e-mail at midnight the night before. This place was the most dysfunctional environment I've ever worked in. Do not work here.

Do NOT Work Here!

Pros

Remote. Decent benefits from parent company.

Cons

Hands down the worst, most toxic work environment I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Osmosis has benefited from the pandemic as they've been able to hire a lot of people who otherwise would be employed at reputable organizations. Too bad they can't seem to hold onto any of these qualified people. Don't be fooled; this is a start-up. Not only is it a start-up but it seems intent on maintaing that chaotic, ineffective organizational structure. Management is more concerned with 'breaking' people to comply with their dysfunction and chaos than they are in instituting sound/fair operational practices. This place is a carousel. Highest turnover of staff I have witnessed. On average, 2 employees are leaving a month. The only people who seem to be the 'right' fit are those who absorb & then mirror the abuse & dysfunction. Several employees likened working here to being employed at a sweatshop. There is zero consideration for employee's well-being. Expect constant off-hour emails & communication from your boss on the weekends. How they present themselves on their website & in interviews does not reflect the reality. 99% of their clients are morally dubious organizations in the private equity, defense & pharmaceutical fields. The only thing Osmosis has accomplished is building a system designed to make their employees fail. No chain of command, no strategic vision, abysmal communication, cliques, widespread burnout & disengagement. Management does not listen & does not care that employees lack proper resources. The owner (a priveleged borderline psychopath) is actively testing people to see if they're 'up to the challenge' of handling the stress they cultivate. Overstepping professional boundaries, railroading colleagues, working 24/7 & openly blaming others -- these behaviors are rewarded. Being a respectful, considerate & caring human being has no place at this company. Unless you are a depraved masochistic please do NOT work here.

Cons

You can safely believe all the negative reviews here. It's a toxic environment that you should avoid unless you enjoy being yelled at, bullied or frozen out.
