Pros

I worked with several different departments for a number of years and some of them were brilliant to work with. I believe most of the colleagues got to work from home as part of the hybrid 'blended lifestyle' which was good. Some benefits are okay {but could've been better}. Could park onsite (then anyway)

Cons

There have been too many restructures, resulting in the loss of numerous talented and loyal colleagues. The Senior Management Team was overly bloated, with many senior members being inexperienced and prone to making irrational and unwise decisions. The Senior Management Team should be known as 'Senior Knee-Jerk Management Team'. I witnessed bullying by the Senior Management Team, which regularly impacted their teams. Before I left, there was erratic behaviour and micromanagement by the Head of Sales, Neighbourhood & Safer Communities Manager and the Heads/Director of Neighbourhood and Customer Services which was completely unacceptable - yet they seemed to get away with it. I hope they have left. The recent CEO was diabolical. He believed he knew everything but lacked experience in the housing sector. Coming from KPMG did not make him an expert in this field. I heard that several directors left under his leadership, even though they were there for only a short time. There was a lack of career progression for peers, with too many excuses and unresolved issues being swept under the rug. Their employee retention was poor. Paragon and Asra should have never merged in the first place.

Pros

The only Pro's to working here is the pay! Ever wondered why it is so great? Just to lure you in and then to try and be disposed of when no longer required!

Cons

Hostile workplace, no employee value, toxic environment, don't be tempted by the pay!!! Frequent management turnover and a lack of ethical standards. A persuasive culture of backstabbing and favouritism where connections matter more then competence! After spending years here i'm relieved to have moved on from an environment that undervalues hard work and integrity and instead rewards you with sycophancy! Mental Health Matters, don't work for this company if you value that. HR are a joke with the staff turnover and many leaving due to toxicity within the HR Dept! They are all in each others pockets.

Pros

-Free lunch provided quarterly -Encouraged to speak up (in theory)

Cons

Significant decline in company culture and operations since new CEO joined - Unrealistic workloads and targets for staff - Removal of holiday bonuses and performance incentives - Annual reviews still required despite lack of benefits/incentives - Low staff morale and high turnover of experienced employees - Management appears inexperienced and indecisive - Lack of understanding of business model and regulatory requirements - Limited opportunities for professional growth - Disconnect between encouragement to speak up and treatment of those who do The company is facing significant challenges under new leadership. There seems to be a lack of strategic direction and understanding of core business operations. While staff are asked to take on increasing workloads, there has been a reduction in benefits and incentives. The work environment has become high-pressure with little reward for good performance. There appear to be issues with retaining experienced staff and addressing employee concerns.
