I was contacted online by a consultant about filling a position.
When I responded for a follow up conversation as I was interested I got no reply to emails/phone calls/DM.
Using the company website I managed (after several weeks) to get a response.
I was told that the consultant in question 'had gone on annual leave' - a response that I find it difficult to understand as it is VERY simple (and basic) to have an automated out of office replay activated.
I was not impressed my the poor communication and dismissing of my query, even though I pointed out that they had contacted me in the first place.
I have experiment similar ghosting from a second consultant - ZERO response or acknowledgement.
This is abysmal when even a basic automated reply is not that difficult to set up.
