Pros

In the beginning, People lift seemed like a company that I could grow and learn with. The CEO's appeared to be nice and caring people but that changed as time went on and their true colors were revealed.

Cons

First things first, this company can be all over the place at times, especially since it is a start up. Second, I believe that if you have a majority of your company dependent on one business partner, that is a failed company. I would also add that leadership has no clear vision of the future for where they want the company to go. It also would not surprise me if they made some of the current employees wrote those fake 5 star reviews.... Do not even get me started on the pay...

Thank you for this feedback. While it is disappointing to hear this, we take every comment seriously and I welcome an opportunity to share the changes we've implemented to address starting pay(we are above market currently), workloads(we've shift our delivery model to have a much more responsive leadership team) and adhering to our values as a company to do everything 'because we care'. If you feel that you have other comments to share, I would welcome the opportunity to connect and further share how we are learning from the clear growing pains we experienced. Be well!

Pros

remote, flexible with personal appts, leadership talk/conversations to expand your position, changes to come

Cons

changes came: eliminated current positions-laid off or lost their leaders (and are currently hiring out of Puerto Rico), when had talks/discussions of employees worried of being let go (due to rumors of Puerto Rico)-we were always told "there is nothing to be concerned about". shady-the way you were talked to/talked about (FAVORTISIM/uncomfortable/outcast/clicks) I feel their quote "because we care" did not follow through, as a family would stand by each other!

I am very sorry that you feel that our level of care is not matched in our actions. We take great pride in supporting several organizations (charitable and employee time), providing best in class mental health benefits/time off and stepping up when our employees are in need. The market has been difficult to navigate for many companies and we've always taken a 'pro employee' approach to change, even when it is hard/difficult news. I would appreciate the opportunity to understand the disconnect between your experience and our consistent adherence to our values. Please email marketing@peoplelift.com and I will set up a time for us to discuss how we can improve.

Pros

The only pro to this place is working from home.

Cons

You're often told to shoot for the moon - but you're barely given tools to reach the second floor. From supplying your own technology, to having to read the minds of those around you, the expectation is high and there is little tangible support. The leaders are demanding, unorganized and often emotional to a fault. They are full of empty promises and created a toxic, false sense, of "family" and "caring" while overworking and underpaying most of their staff with little organization or process and no clear vision into the future.

Hello this is the CEO - thank you for your feedback. 2022 was a learning year for us and we took this feedback very seriously. I am happy to report over the past few months we've dedicate significant energy and care into standardizing our processes, ensuring that each team member is equipped with everything they require and providing best in class work from home, 4 day work week and over 30 days of PTO. We are an organization that supports other organizations growth stories and we grew as a team in 2022. Thank you again for helping improve our business and the lives that we impact.
