Pros

Gave me an idea of what a company should not be like. Seriously.

Cons

I can't give you a detailed or holistic view of their cons because I was fired from there on my first day of training. The entire team works over a single Zoom call, and you are expected to tune in to the entire conversation while also working on the content task that is assigned to you. Now, that's what I call a distraction-free work setting! I was fired by the CEO citing miscommunication with a senior team member. It's my first day there, I'm trying to understand the people and their work process, and I made a mistake of tuning out of a call because I thought it wasn't meant for me. All they have to do is check in via chat to see if I'm there, right? But, no, I receive a text from the CEO an hour later saying I'll be fired if there's any more communication errors from my side. I tell him that I'll be more careful next time. During this time, I am asked to write a paragraph, which I've done, and I'm waiting for its review or any further instructions. During the next call, which is around mid day, the CEO asks me what I've been doing so far. I tell him that I finished writing the paragraph like I was asked to, and there were no further instructions. Do remember that it is my first day there. I'm patiently waiting and learning how these guys go about their work. The CEO is like, you can leave. Apparently, I'm supposed to account for every hour and minute on my first day there, and telepathically guess what these guys want from me. I left, and that was my time at this company. They want you to communicate perfectly with them from the get go, while they won't even lift a finger to make sure that they have us on the same page with them.

Pros

Decent pay by Indian standards. That's honestly the only positive I found. Unfortunately, the compensation doesn't make up for the lack of stability , micromanagment and the narcissist leadership of the CEO.

Cons

● No job security, you'll be fired without prior notice ● Training is inconsistent with multiple people reviewing your work ● What one approves, another might reject without any consideration for your effort or hardwork ● Trainees are expected to sit through client meetings and understand clients that the company has worked for years. ● The expectation gap is unrealistic ● The CEO is nothing but a narcissist, self-absorbed and egomaniac look-at-me , who thinks very highly of himself for running an agnecy with hardly 6 7 client by providing them paraphrased content. ● They have a template for their content and there is absolutely no room for creativity and originality, totally different from the what CEO was talking about during interview meets. ● The work environment will feel supportive only for the first 2 weeks then the CEO will start showing true colors. ● Don't expect much of growth and skill development , because you might get fired on the 1st day or 2nd week or even after working for clients and showing results.
