PharmaS operates in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania with aspiration to be present in all CEE, Russia and key CIS markets. Out of 190 employees, over 90% of employees are highly educated with predominantly medical and pharmaceutical background. Company portfolio is made up of generic prescription drugs in the cardiovascular, gastroenterology and neuropsychiatry segments. At the company start-up, PharmaS owner has invested heavily in 2 pharmaceutical production facilities built in 2010/2011 and 1 pharmaceutical production facility built in 2005. Factories are equipped for solid oral form production and packaging (primary and secondary packaging) of prescription medicines and a production and packaging area (primary and secondary packaging) for manufacture of food supplements. Portfolio is still relatively small and dispersed across specialties (difficult to make commercial bundles). There are internal organisation and culture issues. Lack of clear KPIs and follow up. Supply chain issues (stock out, stock expiry). Product pipeline relatively poor and non- distinct from competitors.
