      Pros

      There are absolutely nothing that could be considered a Pro here.

      Cons

      Management is terrible. Lack of direction and training. Micro management. Regular demeaning "meetings" because of the unwillingness to slow down and figure out what is causing the problem. Absolute lack of work life balance - and don't buy into the "startup" excuse of "hustle" on this one. Core value #1 as per the Exec: Loyalty. Gross

      People-centric approach

      Pros

      Team member first approach, the owner and senior management care about the employees and really treat the team members just like that, part of the team. A valued asset of the company and not just another person or number. The company was built on a nice foundation, I think they saw what other companies did and did wrong, and are careful not to make those mistakes.

      Cons

      I would say the only con is that the company is still relatively new, so the con is having to tell people that we are new. (won't be a problem in the future as we are growing at a beautiful pace).

We're small and scrappy, but because of all our combined years of experience, we know what we're doing by (slowly and strategically) setting the company up for long term success. Want a wonderful career with a great group of people who love what they do and can offer a solid career and potential opportunities for career growth? No need to look any further, welcome to Portoro.

      Cons

      Typical start-up environment. If you don't like fire drills and wearing multiple hats, then we may not be a fit just yet.
