Pros

good coworkers and starting pay, challenging jobs

Cons

From relax to superstress in 60 secs. Decent pay for normal circumstances but employee sometime feel abused when sh*t hits the fan or when u must drop all family affairs b/c u are on call. General feeling that hard work does not get corresponding pay. Management can b vindictive against whiners and complainers. Compnay is not warm fuzzie shop it was in the past. Use to care about customers and employees, but rumor is senior management is looking at retirement and cashing out now.

Good pay in comparison with other related service companies.

Company is transitioning to being more concerned with the "bottom line" than employee satisfaction.

Pros

As a technician you have a company vehicle which you get to bring home at night. Often times your pay starts from when you leave the house and stops when you get home. They give each technician a work phone which can be used for personal use as well. It's a very relaxed place to work and you can learn a ton. Double time is payed for weekend work and time and a half for anything over 40 hrs. Commission is based on quoted sales which pays 2% of the sale.

Cons

Being on-call is terrible and you don't get paid unless you work, which is unlike many other companies on-call policy. Work can take place any day of the week and at any time which can be a drag. E-calls are also a pain and once on one you can't leave until the customer is up and running. This can lead to extremely long days (24+hrs).
