Pros

Existing clients are great; all levels of management are inspirational and experienced; new offerings to the market are right; long time successful company; small enough to be personal - you are not just a number. I was inspired to write this review because of the previous (ridiculously) negative review. If that was a review from a sales person, as stated, this person is a team member of one of the strongest performing progress regions in the world. He/she will soon be attending Sales Kick Off in The Netherlands; has qualified for Circle of Excellence in Morocco; and has recently enjoyed staff team events at Peppers Moonah Links; a Vietnamese Cooking afternoon; Movie and Karaoke afternoon; and soon the Xmas party at Southbank. Plus food and drinks in the office. We are treated like grown ups, and employees are expected to act like grown ups... There is great work/life balance and trust - if you are trustworthy. Rare in this industry at the moment. No colleagues are incompetent; our strength is in our varied experience. Those that want to work as little as possible but expect easy wins will find it difficult. Those that don't understand the changing nature of the industry and the global nature of the company will find it difficult. But anyone willing to put their head down and bum up will be successful in this company. You will need to be self driven, though, because you won't be micro-managed - a big plus in my book. Look at the big picture and you will see endless opportunity - look backwards and needing the comfort of 'mates' and you won't...

Cons

Going through change which is always hard; some decisions about retrenching staff that are perplexing; colleagues who don't see the big picture or understand the global SW industry can bring you down at times; you really are in charge of your own destiny which can be a challenging ask.
