Pros

- Great place for growth early in my career! I had the opportunity to promote from CSM to senior CSM, and then to Manager of CS. It is so valuable to have the opportunity to lead a team and advance through multiple roles. I moved forward with a strong resume. - Learning opportunities like leadership training, team-wide "lunch and learn" style meetings, meetings led by the culture committee, etc. - Really strong culture - you feel connected and engaged even while working remotely! The people make all the difference. It was wonderful to meet everyone at the annual holiday parties and the CSM Summit to solidify the friendships we had built while working remotely. - Innovation is encouraged - all team members are welcome to share new ideas. Participation in team meetings is valued. Creative and critical thinking is a big part of any role at Qnary. Team members are happy to collaborate on potential new strategies and will set up meetings to chat through ideas and solutions. - Clear individual and team-based goals and KPIs - weekly department meetings, small team meetings, and manager 1:1s ensure you have support each step of the way. You know where you and the broader team stand with revenue expansion and retention with these frequent checkpoints. - Lifestyle flexibility - it was extremely valuable that I was able to evolve with the role, leadership was supportive through moves and life milestones, encouraging work-life balance. You can work remotely, and there are Spaces (teleworking offices) for a flexible in-person option. For NYC team members, going into the office to connect is always fun but not required. - Resilient team culture through change - leadership is transparent and confident, offering reassurance through periods of change. - Open feedback - we talked a lot about "radical candor" and treating feedback as a gift. Overall, I found team members and leadership to be very empathetic, creative, interesting, and friendly people. I'm grateful for my time in the Qnary nest.

Cons

- Low salary compared to the average salary range for the industry and for CSM roles in NYC; however, there are performance-based incentives for account expansion and meeting retention goals. - There were periods of time throughout the years when the client load was higher, partially due to staffing. Team members and leadership helped each other as much as possible, offering coverage and support to alleviate stress. If you're ready to embrace a fast-paced, always-changing role, then this is a good fit (it was for me!), but I can see how this could overwhelm people who want a more consistent, predictable experience.

Pros

Thanks to my peers who helped me all throughout.

Cons

To succeed in this job, or at least survive, you have to be enduring and be able to take pressure and stress well. Because aside from the job being so stressful, we also had to deal our managers who harass us relentlessly everyday!!!

Pros

Qnary is a place to truly build your career no matter what role or level you join. I worked at Qnary for years and am extremely grateful for the opportunity and all the people I met and learned from along the way. I was able to be promoted several times during my tenure there. I learned a tremendous amount through my Qnary experience about business, leadership, and technology. Qnary was born in New York City, as a start up that has since grown up, but that NYC-startup vibe is in it's DNA. If you have hustle, drive, and curiosity, this is an excellent place to work and learn from the team, the leaders, and the clients. You are surrounded by go getters. If you show interest and raise your hand, you get called on. Qnary has been cultivating young talent and supporting them to climb onto the next rung - or rungs - of their careers for over a decade.

Cons

It's a mostly virtual environment (with moments to come together in real life as a team). While this can appear as a pro, I've noticed it's been challenging especially for people just starting out in their careers not to be able to physically be together. Qnary, at it's heart is a startup. The company and culture is always thinking about how it can improve and do things better. Process can and does change. Critical thinking, ownership, and leadership is necessary for all roles. I viewed this as a pro because it allows for growth, but if you are looking for a place to be a cog in the wheel, it might not be the best place for you.
