      Pros

      Nice building and office space. Admin staff is nice and organize cool activities for the office

      Cons

      Not the best work environment. Managers are more concerned with completing files than teaching and nurturing younger accountants. Budgets are way off

We encourage and support open 2-way communications especially when it comes to budgets and time spent on files. We agree with you, time spent should be monitored and reported. We encourage staff to enter all their time to provide us with a clear picture of both the file and training needs.       Good for accountants, not for admin

      Pros

      - Fun events from the social committee and the admin staff - There are some great people who work there, including some of the leaders - Snacks in office are stocked and constantly refilled - Most of the clients are great - Paid overtime during busy season plus tax time bonuses

      Cons

      - No flexibility - no admin staff can work remotely or adjust hours, even by half an hour on occasion for an appointment - need to take banked time/overtime - the three weeks of vacation include a week that is required to take off over the holidays, so it's really 2 weeks, and you can't take vacation during busy season - Micromanagers - the hidden reason admin can't work remote is because they can't track you - Time tracking, even for admin - you have to enter in how many hours you worked on certain categories... down to six minute intervals, every. single. day. - There's a hierarchy, so if you want to do anything, you need to ask your manager who will ask their manager - no growth opportunities or autonomy - Different offices get different treatment
