Pros

I received a paycheck every week, I did not abuse drugs or alcohol unlike the majority of my team members. If you attend the annual company barbecue which you work overtime in order to attend you will receive one free t-shirt instead of having to purchase a shirt or hat from the company at retail prices. The best part about the job is watching as an entire window project turns sour and you watch as supervisors scramble to figure out who the can blame and what they can do to bandaid something to get sent out the door.

Cons

The leadership skill is mind boggling, if you think you have a great idea to solve a problem while working on a project you may want to keep it to yourself, because once a supervisor catches wind of it you will end up in a cesspool of the useless minds of upper management attempting to find any way other than your recommendation to solve an issue. If you work hard enough you may just get an annual review, but what’s the point since the company claims record losses and that we will see a raise next year. For all the skilled carpenters they hire at $15 an hour they can look forward to $10 Starbucks gift card Christmas bonuses which should equal their hourly salary after taxes. As for someone like me, that gift card is better off as a shim keeping my table at Applebee’s from rocking as I eat. The dreaded “schedule”, as if things couldn’t operate less efficient, they figured out how to slow things down even more! Why build 5 of the same window in a row when the schedule tells me that I MUST build one Monday morning, Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon, and 3 on Friday! It makes no sense but the schedule says to do it that way so it must be done! The best is when you sit in a group meeting with the production manager and he asks what they can do to hire more people. The person next to me turned to his friend and apologized for recommending him to work there because the company sucks so much and that it wasn’t worth taking the $1000 sign on bonus over their friendship. Last but not least, if you enjoy working on mostly outdated machines with no or poor safety guards, and using harbor freight tools then this is the place you want to be! I’ve never seen a company wast so much high value wood or spend money in such poor areas as this company has. Take the job and find out for yourself!

Pros

Good work hours and decent medical benefits

Cons

It's miserable there. When there are issues with product they look the other way and act like there is no problem. Causing double or triple the work. They claim they care about safety but also they ignore safety issues. If you want to work here don't.
