Pros

Unlimited PTO, disconnect bonus, volunteer opportunities

Cons

Stay far away from Relevate Health. They have a toxic positivity culture and you can only grow in the company if you drink the Kool-Aid. Time sheets are mandatory to complete every week. Your reviews and bonuses are based on completing your timesheets on time and your billable hours. Executive leadership praises people who take a week of vacation and STILL hit their billable hours for the month. Translation: You're making up the hours by working overtime other weeks. Executive and senior leadership have no clue what they are doing and do not have the skills to take the company to the next level. Every executive is remote so they have no clue what their workers are doing every day and what it takes to get the client work done. The work life balance is horrible. Everything is a fire drill...or really a dumpster fire. You cannot trust people to do their job which leads you to working after hours and the weekend to fix it. Unlimited PTO is great and make sure you use it. Some managers are more lenient with the amount of time you take off verses others. There is also a disconnect bonus where the company pays you $1000 to take a week off and not talk to anyone the whole week. My advice is to treat every PTO day like a disconnect. Growth opportunities are only available to those that drink the Kool-Aid. If you try to speak out about anything, you are screwing yourself over. Reviews from year to year are inconsistent. Managers tell you what you need to work on but don't offer any support to meet those goals. You can go years working your butt off and get no promotion while coworkers have gotten two or three in that time frame. Favoritism is a huge issue. The bonus is abysmal. They say you are eligible for 3% but they then take some away based on the company performance and your reviews but they offer no explanations. They are still experiencing "growing pains" from 4 years ago. That is no longer growing pains, it is incompetency. They have acquired three companies since 2020 and they still refer to their employees by their original companies. It is not one team. You notice something is broke and you want to fix it? Great! Except no one will follow the new process and everyone just goes back to the way they were doing it originally.

Disappointing Experience

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - The week of between Christmas and New Year's

Cons

Executive and Senior leadership do not have the skill set to "drive" this organization and are highly dysfunctional. At no point do they instill confidence. Work-life balance, mental health, and empathy, which HR touts so much as vital to the organization, are a far cry from reality. Expectations are unrealistic, and the workload is overwhelming. There is a pervasive culture of overworking, with little recognition or appreciation for the extra effort put in by employees, unless you are part of the chosen few, that recognize each other constantly. Burnout is commonplace, and the response to this issue is disappointingly inadequate. Career growth opportunities are limited, and it often feels like there is a lack of investment in employee development. The lack of a clear career path is demotivating. Meanwhile, talented individuals are undervalued and overlooked. The benefits package is subpar compared to other healthcare agencies that this organization strives to compete with. The bonuses are laughably inadequate compared to other agencies. Try not to laugh when you get a $5 gift card and are told to be sure to "treat yourself" and don't spend it on someone else.
