Pros

Upper management occasionally vanishes for extended periods of time. Undefined middle management sacrifices their personal lives to support each other and the workers under them. Turnover rate is high, so if you don't like someone, just be patient.

Cons

Business is run as a dictatorship as no opinions, viewpoints, or experiences other than one of the owner's has any weight. Unrealistic timelines are set with no clear direction or assistance in how they can be achieved. PTO does not exist - workers are expected to be available at all hours. Employees are forced, arbitrarily, to sign a non-compete that prevents them from continuing to work in the same industry. Owner is also sue-happy, so it's not worth trying to argue. Untrained, unqualified individuals are hired at an inflated payrate, given 0 onboarding or training, and made to be the problem of middle management and/or lead field workers who are paid significantly less. Self-appointed office manager will sabotage workers by telling upper management embellished information to make them look shady - actual details will be disregarded. Protocols will drastically change at the drop of a hat and only a select few will be informed. Inquiries of how to enact new protocol is met with hostility and a "this is how we have always done it" attitude that failed at least 2 prior businesses. Any efforts for improvement, bettering of the company, or thoroughly doing a task will be ridiculed and undermined by the owner. Doing things ethically and legally are not a priority, only getting money in the door.

Pros

Um... I mean... well... I'll get back to you.

Cons

Little or no training, poor communication from upper management, below average pay, less then average paid time off. You will likely get little or no training but still be expected to meet certain expectations, which will never be clearly laid out or communicated to you until after you fail to live up to them. Want a raise? Want to meet with upper management in order to discuss? They don't time for that. They'll set a time/date and then reschedule it 5 times before ultimately just cancelling because they don't have time for you. But you will work any and all hours that they need you to work, sometimes without overtime pay. Stingy with uniforms and PPE, everything has to go through one person who's job it is to say no to everything you ask for. Getting 5 star reviews on Google is a huge deal to them, they tell you that you will get a bonus if a customer leaves a 5 star review and mentions your name. Until you get one, and you get you nothing. You will frequently be asked to do things that are not your job without any incentive to do so, and you may even be told (not asked) to take on many additional responsibilities/work load without any additional pay. Not even a thank you. Upper management promotes a toxic company culture by pitting everyone against each other and taking no responsibility for anything that happens. You will either last long enough to completely hate it and quit, or get fired without warning or explanation. Almost no one that works there has been there for more than a year or two, and that's why.

Pros

The guys you worked with day in and day out in the field. Middle management(for the mit team) always had your back

Cons

Hours, pay, upper management. Unrealistic expectations. Upper management would rarely be at the office and then when they do show back up, they come in like a tornado and mess everything up. They don’t care about their employees they only care about their Money. They don’t care about their customers the only reason they have as many good Google reviews is because of the hard-working technicians that are in the field breaking their back day in and day out to help people in need.
