Small Charity making an impact within the TV and Film Industry

Pros
Small charity with a huge impact and going through change. Supportive management and staff with a relaxed and informal approach. They work hard as they’re passionate about what they do. CEO with high emotional intelligence and wants to make a difference within the organisation. Staff are supportive and promote mental health, diversity and inclusion. You genuinely feel they are trying to help and will go the extra mile. The culture, the people and staff are warm and welcoming. Some incredibly talented individuals work within this organisation who have a background within film and TV. The company will be moving to new offices which look great and hopefully will make staff feel proud of their work environment. Staff trialling hybrid working which is a huge positive and helps with work life balance. Employee Assistance Program to support well-being and mental health.
Cons
Staff who take advantage of a persons good nature/work ethic and expect to be paid for doing very little whilst seeing their colleagues carry/pick up their work. Due to the nature of the funding it can mean some roles are linked to funding meaning roles are short/fixed term, this is always made clear at the outset. A review of staff benefits would be good but accept organisations have to manage their costs. Like most charities resources are tight so workload can feel intense, however, others are understanding. The organisation should promote the work it does and celebrate its success, this could be improved.
