Pros

Please avoid this company- it's not worth the stress. Hopefully this review will prevent anybody else going through what I have...Wish I could give it 0 stars....

Cons

Where do I start... - management are the rudest, most manipulative people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. They will never offer you help, but treat you like you're stupid and talk down to you when you ask for it. -Management are a horrid clique that all live together. Toxic environment. Being nice and friendly and dedicated to a career is not valued. You might as well wear a school uniform and regress to being 12.... -There is NO HR DEPARTMENT. Says it all really. Nor is there a contract. Again, says it all. -The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely disgusting. Utterly vile. Slamming doors, blaming. -Harassed by my manager via passive aggressive emails and regular 'sit -downs' to intimidate me on my performance, despite having no training, guidance or any form of care for my well-being. She gave me daily panic attacks and had a detrimental effect on my otherwise fantastic mental health. Could she see that? Yes. Did she care? No. -The social culture of this company is basically bad-talking about other employees, for no reason at all. If you're invited to a pathetic drinks meet up, expect to just bad-talk about people, not to have a nice conversation. -Literally like going back to school and being around year 9 children, but a million times worse. Mostly female environment heightens this- very uncomfortable place. -There is no training. At all. You're expected to know everything by day one despite not being told how to do a single thing. Mistakes are made, obviously. -There is no organisation whatsoever. Everything will be your fault. -I was employed on an entry level role on an entry level wage, but within a day (with no training or any kind of guidebook), was given 20 clients to manage. Clearly they are understaffed and don't want to pay more people to work there. -Moral is very low. There is no sense of team spirit or help. Instead, everything was given to me as an assistant whilst Account Managers laughed at the end of the day, exclaiming: "I've gotten through today doing the bare minimum." -People speak to each other like absolute rubbish (for want of a better word). Don't expect any thanks for your hard work and positive attitude. -Management will say "this is a very, very fast-paced environment"- which is true. However, the problem is lack or organisation & everything being left to the last minute by management, which will be your fault... -They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you through the door. I was told I would be making videos due to my interest in production. Then in the 2nd interview was told my role was completely changed. Makes me wonder if there was any role- or organization, in the first place.......... Please do your research before applying/accepting a job with this company. They have a VERY high turnover of staff and recruiters will not work with them for a reason. 8 staff members left within three months, myself included. I will not be the last...

Pros

- Some members of staff are genuinely lovely people - The lack of training and the need to stand up for myself to management gave me the confidence and experience I needed to get my new job which I love. - Office is fairly central

Cons

- A huge lack of training. It was very much a trial and error environment yet when you did make a mistake they were super patronizing. - A lack of support and it was an extremely unpleasant place to work without some of my lovely colleagues. There seemed to be a 1 rule for 1, and another for someone else mentality. - With the lack of training comes lack of development. There was very little room for progression and if you do want to progress, they’ll make it super difficult for you and provide a lot of pushback. There were also no appraisals for potential development, just passive aggressive ‘sit downs’. The below review is a perfect example, a 'valued employee for more than 5 years' yet they're still a Marketing Exec. - Pay was bad and no perks apart from 5pm Friday finishes, if that is even a perk? - Suppliers and vendors were never paid on time and were not treated well, meaning they wouldn’t work with you, which meant organising events and getting your tasks done was a nightmare (just check Google reviews). - Furthermore they always attempted to cut corners which resulted in unhappy clients. This lead to a strenuous working environment where management blamed everyone else (usually via passive aggressive emails). - The micromanagement from certain members of management was something I’ve never seen before in my professional career. This also included patronising staff, making them feel like they can't speak up and then complaining to them later for not speaking up. - They will tell you that it is a very fast-paced environment which is true. However not due to the market, the problem was the complete lack of organisation & everything being left to the last minute by management, which you will be blamed for and made to rectify. - Rarely/No options to work from home, which in 2023 is rare… - No sick pay - No HR (speaks volumes) - Get EVERYTHING in writing. They would always agree and promise things and then change their mind when it didn’t suit them.

Pros

Finish at 5pm on Fridays (If thats a perk?!)

Cons

Overall a horrible place to work where you will dread getting up in the morning. Staff turnover is so high because no one wants to stick around. There is little to no job progression and the salary is low. So far I have not been made to feel welcome here. They are disorganised and attempt to cut corners resulting in unhappy clients. This leads to a stressful working environment where management will blame everyone else (usually via passive aggressive emails). You are not made to feel welcome and there is absolutely no training. Theres throwing people in the deep end and then there is this which is on a whole other level. Any positive reviews are normally written by management so take these with a pinch of salt. There is always arguments across the office and lots of swearing which can be uncomfortable and very unprofessional. On top of that I hear lots of talking about other staff members and it seems very cliquey..
