Leadership (or lack of) creates a hostile and toxic work environment. It is common for management/leadership to berate employees, if you are not on the receiving end dont worry you will hear it or hear about it. Management is openly verbal about who they like/dislike, which will affect how helpful and responsive they are to you.

These designers need management coaching ASAP. There is a lot a foul language and bad manners involved in the company’s culture. Studio directors are mostly incompetent and you can seldom hear their screams while having conference calls on loud speakers. People are hired and as soon as they enter the building they are fired. You could meet a new employee and two or three days later they would “disappear” for no particular reason. There is an inner circle of associates which are basically a set of brown noses, that are untouchable but new talent is typically expendable. The turnover rate is monstrous. Salaries are -on average- low. The environment can become toxic and from time to time you will feel as if playing the “Squid Game”.
