The owner is very good at pretending to be friendly, but has a track record of not paying employees (both myself and others), and treating both employees and customers very poorly. For example, setting up appointments with customers, but then not showing up for hours, leaving the staff to awkwardly pour coffee for the guest. He also refused to hand over necessary paperwork for my next job until my new employer called him up to demand it. I am still owed over a months salary that I've had to give up on ever receiving.
