Pros
non-management staff are good, however it's the people's personal attributes, not the company. so essentially pros? N/A. This is the number 1 company to learn what NOT to do in business.
Cons
Micro managed, money hungry, very disorganized. Expected a higher level of organization for an aviation company, however the flying wasn't in the sky. It was in the office, where most staff just wing it. Zero focus on ethics, industry standards, joke of the industry. Don't be fooled by the glitzy marketing, that's the only good thing about the company, once you see pass the glitzy marketing, it's all mayday from there. Management aren't receptive to feedback from staff. They are training students in planes that JUST tick the boxes, however aren't industry standard and the job prospects for their graduates are not the best. As an aviation company who have had multiple accidents in recent years, they are still not prepared and everyone runs around headless when an incident arises. I left on ethical grounds. My moral compass pointed to the door. Watching these poor students get baited in only to get robbed. I could not look at students out of shame. Pay was OK but I don't want to be known as being involved in robbing students who don't know better. If anyone wants to start a business, work at Soar Aviation. The company is great at teaching you what NOT to do.
